All three launching sites are easy to reach. Every 40 minutes a bus starts from the main terminal in Roldanillo, stops at the launch site Aquapanela and passes by close to Pico. The competition launch site is reached by private cars, which start at Cloudbase Colombia or at the park.
From all three sites starting is possible in the morning. At around noon the Pacific wind starts up and comes in over the mountains, which makes starting impossible. If you’re already up in the air and flying in the valley the wind will not disturb you.
From all three launch sites starting is fairly easy. Every pilot will find during his or her stay the favorite launching pad.
